Somjit Jongjohor : Olympic Boxing Champion Switch Into a Singer

Olympic gold medalist Beijing, Somjit Jongjohor of Thailand, leaving the boxing arena to move his career as a singer. Flyweight charismatic boxer, which is the amateur boxing world champion, Olympic and Asian champion, a six-year career in boxing is always in the top position, released music album 'Rak Nak Samak Len' (Amateur Playboy) in his country this week, as reported by television Channel 3. 


Somjit (34) will be too old to maintain his title in London Olympics 2012 and was considering switching to a professional or a trainer.  Several Thai boxer had a rebellious reputation, like dice, drinking, dating and love with women, but some of them have left the penchant to switch careers to the field of acting and singing.

Somluck Kamsing, a first gold medalist's in that kingdom, be censured by the leaders of Thailand because the sport spend too much time to sing or play soap opera and film. He failed to maintain his title at featherweight in the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
